SAFETY LESSON
This first safety less covers only safety for the intermediate-level material, which includes bedroom bondage, dominance bondage, artistic bondage, and the like. As you move forward to new levels of bondage, be sure to learn about safety precautions appropriate for the level of bondage you are doing.
• Cutting off Circulation Bunnies should be instructed to pay attention to when their arm feels numb. If it feels just a partially numb or spotty, that will be something they will recover from quickly and may adjust to over time. There is a serious risk of cutting off circulation to an entire limb, like an arm or leg, which you should mitigate.
• Nerve Damage
• Joint safety: Never tie around someone’s bones or joints: ankles, knees, or elbows. Around someone’s waste, you must pay particular attention to the pelvis and hip flexor and find positions for your bunny that are comfortable for them, adjusting some ties to their body.
• Air flow: When tying someone’s rib cage or upper body, always be careful to make sure they have adequate space to breathe. Never put a rope around someone’s neck or carotid artery.
