11/2/2024 & 11/3/2024 Recap

Posted on November 4, 2024November 4, 2024 by admin

At the beginner class on 11/2, we went over the Running End and the Bight End, the overhand single columns (basic and with quick release), the Sommerville bowline, and the double column. We even had time to do a self-tie of KissMeDeadlyDoll’s Self-Suspension Chest Harness from Shibari Study.

On Sunday, we had an intermediate session at Sagi’s place in Edgewater, where we watched the replay of Shay Tiziano’s Fembot Self Suspension Performance and replicated the hip harness she did in the first part of this video. As much of a Tiziano fan as I personally am, Sagi is correct in pointing out that in this video, Tiziano appears to build a hip harness that she doesn’t actually load from in her performance. Nevertheless, if you have a SS subscription, this video is available only until Nov 16 and I still think it’s a fun watch.

Finally, Professor Cardigan spotted me for this self, and I suspended him for the first time he flew.
